Eleanor Katharine Drew RIP

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Eleanor Drew (daughter of Geoffrey and Allison Drew) who sadly passed away on 5th August 2023.  Details of the funeral arrangements are provided below.

Funeral will take place at St Margarets on Friday, 1st September at 11.00 am followed by committal at 12.40 pm at Hanworth Crematorium.

You are warmly invited to join the family in the Church Hall for the Reception, immediately after the Crematorium. If you are not going to the Crematorium, tea and coffee will be available while you wait.

In lieu of flowers, Eleanor requested donations to Interfaith Glasgow, a charity which facilitates positive engagement between people from diverse backgrounds.

Men's Breakfast 

We have been running Men’s Breakfasts at St Margarets for over 10 years and thank you all for your involvement. Now we are doing something different and ask for your support.  We have hired an expert who will help us with our wellbeing over three monthly sessions. 

The goals are: to improve your health, improve your knowledge, make little changes which could have a big impact on your life.

Mass on Bank holiday Monday 28th August will take place at 12.00 noon.

Due to summer holidays the Sunday 10.30 am Mass will not be livestreamed on Sunday 13th August or Sunday 20th August. We will be back as normal from Sunday 27th August. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.


Join Fr Paul Bigirwa for an afternoon of tea and cakes on Wednesday 16th August from 1.45pm.

All donations on the day will support Fr Paul’s educational initiatives in Uganda. For more information please contact David Rose at david.rose@geta.org.uk.
